OLB Announces Leadership Change: Marc Ampaw Expands Role
Oldenburgische Landesbank AG (OLB) is enacting changes in its Management Board. Marc Ampaw, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) since May 2021, will take over additional responsibilities following Giacomo Petrobelli's departure by the end of June 2026. Ampaw will oversee various market sectors including Commercial Real Estate and Shipping, as well as the product segments of Acquisition Finance, Corporates, and others within Corporates & Diversified Lending. Petrobelli joined OLB in 2020, becoming CIO in 2022, and played a role in the bank's growth, contributing to its profitable development.
Isabelle Chevelard, Chair of the Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude for Petrobelli's work and confidence in Ampaw's expanded role. Before OLB, Ampaw held positions at Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, VTB Bank, and Bawag PSK/Südwestbank AG. The changes represent OLB's strategic focus on strengthening leadership as part of its future development.
