OHB SE Achieves Record Revenues in Q1 2025

OHB SE reported a record total revenue of EUR 242.4 million for Q1 2025, marking a 17% increase from the previous year. Despite this, the operating result (EBITDA) slightly declined to EUR 19.1 million from EUR 19.3 million. However, the adjusted EBITDA showed a 10% increase to EUR 22.1 million. The EBIT decreased to EUR 9.5 million, diminishing the EBIT margin from 4.9% to 3.9% year-on-year.
The company's order backlog witnessed a significant year-on-year growth of 34%, reaching EUR 2,314 million. This includes substantial orders in key segments: SPACE SYSTEMS contributed EUR 1,861 million, AEROSPACE EUR 293 million, and DIGITAL EUR 160 million. OHB's total assets rose to EUR 1,410.6 million, with an equity ratio increase to 30.7% from 30.5% at the end of 2024.
The SPACE SYSTEMS segment was buoyed by an additional satellite order for the CO2M mission. OHB also expanded into Bristol, UK, aiming to bolster its presence in the European space sector. In AEROSPACE, MT Aerospace AG continued its significant involvement with the European launcher Ariane 6. The DIGITAL segment advanced its satellite data applications and technology transfer efforts.
