Oeneo Group's Revenue Declines Amid Ongoing Market Challenges
The Oeneo Group announced a turnover of €133.1 million for the first half of the financial year 2026-2027, reflecting a 5.1% decline compared to the previous year. Adjusted for constant scope and exchange rates, the decline was 7.2%. This trend follows similar patterns observed in the first quarter, largely influenced by persistent challenges in the wine and spirits market.
Newly acquired companies, Altasur and Lamouroux, contributed €3.0 million in additional revenue, somewhat cushioning the decline. The Closures Division saw a minor decrease of 1.3% in turnover, thanks to contributions from Altasur and positive product mix, despite declining volumes in key regions like the US and France.
Conversely, the Winemaking Division faced a significant drop of 15.8% in revenue, affected by reduced production volumes and delayed investments, especially in the US and France. This decline impacted the Group's profitability, now expected to be slightly over 11.0%. The Group remains focused on cost optimization and innovation to navigate these uncertainties.
