OENEO Reports Limited Decline in 2025-2026 Turnover Amid Challenging Market Conditions
OENEO Group's turnover for 2025-2026 reached €275.5 million, marking a 9.3% decline at constant exchange rates compared to the previous year. A challenging environment, characterized by low harvest volumes and a global slowdown in wine consumption, significantly impacted the performance.
The Closures division demonstrated resilience with a 5.3% drop, benefiting from strategic customer wins in Europe and Oceania. Almost two billion cork closures were sold, with Diam representing 85% of sales.
Conversely, the Winemaking division faced a 20.2% decline due to disruptions in the barrel business, especially in the US and French cognac markets. OENEO anticipates maintaining a relatively stable operating margin of over 13% despite current difficulties.
The group remains focused on optimizing productivity and cash-flow, poised to leverage market recovery opportunities. Full-year results for 2025-2026 will be disclosed on June 11, 2026.
