Progress in Quantum-Enhanced MRI: QuE-MRT's Next Phase in Germany

NVision Quantum Technologies has announced a two-year extension for the QuE-MRT project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space. This extension, until August 2028, allows continued development of quantum-enhanced metabolic MRI in collaboration with the QuE-MRT consortium in Germany.

The project, with a budget of €20 million, focuses on integrating quantum science with medical imaging to create a viable platform for clinical use. Significant advances have been made, including better polarization of metabolic molecules, expanding probes, and standardizing imaging processes across multiple research sites.

The consortium's interdisciplinary efforts involve leading German universities and medical centers, contributing to over 20 scientific publications. NVision's POLARIS platform plays a crucial role in these developments, bringing quantum-enhanced hyperpolarized MRI closer to clinical application.
