NuRAN Wireless Expands Infrastructure with 29 New Towers in October

NuRAN Wireless Inc., known for its rural connectivity infrastructure in Africa, announced the activation of 29 towers this October. The expansion is part of NuRAN's strategy to convert their backlog of over 5,000 contracted towers into operational assets, alongside advancing its energy subsidiary, NuEnergy.

NuEnergy focuses on solar, battery storage, and hybrid power systems to support NuRAN's network. The aim is to enhance site economics and increase asset utilization. NuRAN's contracts with major telecom operators like Orange and MTN could generate over $900 million in revenue over the next decade.

NuRAN's strategic growth is supported by their newly appointed advisor, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Rams, whose expertise spans telecommunications and renewable energy. This move sets NuRAN to tackle connectivity challenges in remote areas while leveraging energy services for additional revenue streams.
