NORMA Group Faces Challenging Market Conditions in Early 2025

NORMA Group reported a decrease in sales for the first quarter of 2025, amounting to EUR 284.2 million, a 7.9% drop compared to the same period in 2024. The company faced a challenging market environment, reflected in a 59.9% decline in adjusted EBIT, which stood at EUR 10.3 million. Despite this, net operating cash flow showed improvement, reaching EUR 3.1 million.
Across regions, sales in EMEA fell by 12.2%, influenced by weak demand from the automotive sector. In the Americas, sales were down by 3.5%, with currency effects partly offsetting the decline. The Asia-Pacific region also experienced an 8.0% sales drop due to reduced demand from the construction sector in China.
NORMA Group is continuing its transformation into a focused industrial supplier, working on strategic measures to support growth, cost reduction, and optimization. The full transformation is expected to complete by 2028.
