Nordex Group Secures 70 MW Wind Project in Serbia
On March 23, 2026, Hamburg-based Nordex Group announced its latest achievement, a new order from Serbia for the Jasikovo wind farm. The agreement involves supplying and installing 11 N175/6.X wind turbines. Each turbine boasts a capacity of up to 7 MW, positioned on 119-meter tubular steel towers. These turbines will be equipped with Nordex's Anti-Icing System to ensure efficiency under challenging climatic conditions.
The project also includes a 30-year Premium Service contract, with an optional five-year extension. Located in the Serbian Carpathian Mountains, the site promises excellent wind conditions, with average speeds of approximately 8 m/s. First turbine installation is set for April 2027, with power generation anticipated by July 2027, expected to yield over 270 GWh annually.
This order highlights Nordex’s competitiveness in South-Eastern Europe while marking the company's expansion in Serbia, now totaling 425 MW. This development supports Serbia’s renewable energy goals, reinforcing Nordex's market position.
