Nordex Group Secures 80 MW Wind Project in Spain

Nordex Group has successfully secured a contract for an 80 MW wind farm project in Spain. This order includes the provision of 13 N175/6.X turbines along with a Premium Service package spanning 20 years. The project also has an option to expand by an additional 40 MW, potentially increasing the total capacity to 120 MW.

Installation is planned for spring 2027, with commissioning by the end of that year. The turbines will be installed on 112-meter tubular steel towers. The customer and specific location details remain undisclosed. This venture aligns with Nordex's strategy to strengthen its footprint while boosting Spain's renewable energy capacity.
