NOA Lithium Enters Agreement with Summit Explore for Arizaro Project
NOA Lithium Brines Inc. has announced a non-binding term sheet agreement with Summit Explore Corporation for the Arizaro lithium brine project in Salta, Argentina. Summit Explore, a subsidiary of Summit Lithium Technologies, can gain a 60% interest in the project by completing technical studies and investing in NOA. NOA will hold a 40% stake.
The agreement outlines that Summit Explore will conduct a Preliminary Economic Assessment by August 2027 and follow with a USD $750,000 equity investment. A Preliminary Feasibility Study and a USD $2,750,000 payment to NOA will complete their 60% interest acquisition. Afterwards, the companies will form a joint venture for development.
Gabriel Rubacha, CEO of NOA, views this as a key milestone. Amanda Hall, CEO of Summit, emphasizes Argentina's valuable brine resources, aligning with Summit's strategy to optimize lithium production costs.
