U.S. Officials to Visit NioCorp’s Critical Minerals Site

NioCorp Developments Ltd. announced an upcoming visit to the Elk Creek Critical Minerals Project site by several U.S. officials, including Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen. Set for October 14, 2026, the visit will also include EXIM Chairman John Jovanovic, Senators Deb Fischer and Pete Ricketts, and Congressman Adrian Smith.

The site in southeast Nebraska is under construction and focuses on producing critical minerals like niobium, scandium, and titanium. These materials have diverse applications in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and defense.

The visit will feature tours and briefings from NioCorp leadership. However, due to safety and security protocols, public access is restricted, though a livestream will be available. The visit coincides with EXIM's review of NioCorp's financing application under the "Make More in America" initiative.
