NioCorp Finalizes Land Acquisition for Elk Creek Project

NioCorp Developments Ltd. has acquired additional land in Johnson County, Nebraska, securing a full square mile for its Elk Creek Critical Minerals Project. This purchase ensures the site for both an underground mine and an integrated surface processing facility, contingent on project financing completion. The company also holds options to acquire more land for future operations and expansion.

CEO Mark A. Smith highlighted this milestone, stressing the company's readiness to begin construction and operations. NioCorp raised over $360 million to facilitate these acquisitions, removing land constraints once the project commences. The Elk Creek Project is poised to produce critical minerals like niobium, scandium, and titanium, which are key for various industrial applications.
