The lasting impact of "That's Life!" after 10 years

The pan-African series "C'est la vie!" celebrates its tenth anniversary with a new season, "C'est la vie!, Nouvelle Génération." Broadcast on TV5MONDEplus and coming soon to TV5MONDE, this series is the brainchild of the Senegalese NGO RAES. It continues to explore African social realities through the fictional neighborhood of Ratanga.

With over 40 million viewers and over 200 million views on digital platforms, the series has proven its effectiveness as an awareness-raising tool, particularly during international health funding crises in Africa. In addition to TV seasons, it offers mini-web episodes, allowing it to expand its audience and address more social issues.

Created by Marguerite Abouet, the new season features six female writers and highlights strong female characters, reinforcing the series' relevance and impact.
