NFON's Strategic Shift Amid a Challenging Market
NFON AG, a European leader in business communications, reports a slight decline in revenue for the first half of 2026. Revenue dipped 3.8% to EUR 42.5 million compared to EUR 44.2 million in the same period last year. Despite a tough environment, the company emphasizes its strategic transformation focusing on AI-based applications.
Recurring revenue grew due to its Intelligent Assistant and Customer Engagement sectors, although it was insufficient to counterbalance declines in Business Telephony. The firm's adjusted EBITDA decreased to EUR 4.4 million from EUR 5.7 million year-on-year.
The company has reinforced efforts in the UK and revamped its sales approach, continuing its Next 2027 strategy. NFON adjusted its 2026 revenue forecast to between EUR 84.5 million and EUR 86.0 million, with adjusted EBITDA expected between EUR 9.5 million and EUR 10.5 million.
