NEXTDC Revises FY27 Guidance Amid Power Supply Delays
NEXTDC Limited has announced a revision to its FY27 financial guidance due to delays in power network works by Jemena Electricity Networks. These delays impact the power supply to the M3 Melbourne data center, deferring the billing of contracted capacity to FY28. The Victorian Government's planning decision on further expansions has also been postponed.
The revised FY27 guidance now predicts net revenue of A$475 million to A$500 million, a reduction from A$615 million to A$640 million. Underlying EBITDA is adjusted to A$245 million to A$265 million from previously A$385 million to A$410 million. Capital expenditure has been cut by approximately A$750 million, now ranging from A$4,500 million to A$5,000 million.
Despite these challenges, NEXTDC maintains compliance with financial covenants and possesses A$8,675 million in liquidity. Efforts are underway to manage the delays in collaboration with Jemena and affected customers.
