Nexans signs a contract for an interconnection in Greece
Nexans recently signed a subcontract with Hellenic Cables to supply a 420 km 110 kV MI cable system. This project is part of the ambitious Corinth-Kos HVDC interconnection project, which aims to strengthen the electrical link between the Dodecanese islands and the Greek mainland. This initiative, which also includes 1,260 km of submarine cables and 30 km of land cables, is one of the largest in the Mediterranean region.
By collaborating with Asso.subsea, this project will support Greece's electrical infrastructure, while ensuring stable activity for Nexans' production lines until 2028. Through this partnership, Nexans confirms its leading position in the field of high-voltage electrical infrastructure.
