New CTO Appointment at Basler AG
Basler AG, a prominent provider of image processing components for computer vision solutions, has announced the appointment of Dr. Kai Jens Ströder as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) effective January 5, 2026. Dr. Ströder will focus on product generation and innovation, bringing extensive experience in strategic technological development.
Dr. Ströder holds a business administration degree and a doctorate from the University of Stuttgart. He has held various management roles at Carl Zeiss AG, and was CEO of tooz technologies GmbH where he established development and production sites globally and scaled augmented reality technology to series production.
Dr. Ströder joins Basler's management team, complementing Chief Executive Officer Hardy Mehl and Chief Financial Officer Ines Brückel. Basler AG continues to strengthen its leadership in computer vision technology worldwide.
