Nano One and Worley Chemetics Launch One-Pot™ LFP CAM Package
Nano One Materials Corp. and Worley Chemetics have announced the completion of their One-Pot™ lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode active material (CAM) Package. This development marks a pivotal milestone for the company's 2026 objectives, combining North American, European, and South African vendor equipment.
The CAM Package bundles a technology license, process design, and key equipment into a cost-competitive package that de-risks production. A second hybrid configuration, expected by H2 2026, includes Chinese vendors for certain non-sensitive equipment, enhancing sourcing flexibility within allowed jurisdictions.
The demand for localized LFP production is rising due to its application in defense, energy storage, and electric vehicles. Over 98% of these materials are currently produced in China, increasing the need for regional solutions. Nano One's strategy focuses on licensing this technology with Worley Chemetics, backed by Canadian funding, to address this growing market demand.
