Namibia Critical Metals Reports AGM Results and Board Re-election
Namibia Critical Metals Inc. (NCMI) announced the results of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on May 15, 2025. Approximately 62.22% of shareholding was represented at the meeting, with all proposed matters receiving approval. Key resolutions included the re-election of directors Adrian Hickey, Darrin Campbell, William Price, and Steve Herlihy, along with the approval of an amended stock option plan allowing the Company to grant options up to 10% of its issued shares. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP was also appointed as the auditors for the coming year.
The re-elected directors were endorsed overwhelmingly, with support percentages ranging from 99.75% to 99.91%. Additionally, the meeting confirmed NCMI's ongoing commitment to its Lofdal heavy rare earth project, developed in partnership with Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC). JOGMEC has contributed C$16.2 million within a partnership framework aimed at enhancing rare earth supply security.
