Mutares to Sell Relobus to Infracapital

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced an agreement to sell its Polish portfolio company, Relobus Transport Polska, to Infracapital, a fund managed by M&G. Relobus is a prominent provider of public bus transport services in Poland. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026 and is subject to standard closing conditions.

Under Mutares' ownership since 2023, Relobus has undergone significant operational and financial improvements. It has secured long-term public transport contracts, including new agreements in Warsaw and Gdańsk. This successful transformation highlights the potential for growth in Poland's public transport sector, driven by urbanization and sustainable mobility initiatives.

With Infracapital as the future owner, Relobus aims to expand its contracts and focus on low-emission vehicles. Mutares CIO Johannes Laumann expressed confidence in Infracapital supporting Relobus' growth and transition towards a more sustainable transport system.
