Mutares Completes Acquisition of Venator Ultramarine Business
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has finalized the acquisition of Venator Ultramarine Blue Pigments from Venator France SAS. This strategic move aims to enhance Mutares' Chemicals & Materials segment and strengthen its position in the specialty chemicals market.
Venator Pigments France, located in Comines, France, is a leading producer of ultramarine pigments, serving a variety of industries including plastics, cosmetics, and paints. The business generates annual revenues of approximately EUR 35 million and employs around 110 people.
This acquisition is part of Mutares' broader expansion strategy, which began with acquiring SABIC's ETP business earlier this year. The transaction is expected to unlock synergies and provide growth opportunities for the company.
