Mutares' Locapharm Sells Care Services in France
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA announced that its portfolio company, Locapharm, formerly known as Alcura France, has successfully completed the divestment of its home healthcare services in mainland France. This move transfers Locapharm's PSAD (Prestations de Santé à Domicile) activities to Santé Cie Group, a prominent player in European home and ambulatory care.
Since December 2024, Locapharm's management, supported by Mutares' experts, has worked on significant restructuring. Key initiatives included rebranding and refocusing on core MAD (maintien à domicile) activities, alongside a strategic build-up strategy marked by two acquisitions in 2025. These efforts follow the separation from its previous shareholder, Alliance Healthcare.
