Mobimo launches construction of 122 apartments in Aarau
On October 8, 2026, Mobimo Holding AG celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for 122 rental apartments in the Nordbau development, in the presence of project partners and representatives from the city of Aarau. This project marks the final stage of the Aeschbachquartier expansion and underscores the importance of the redevelopment of the former Rockwell industrial site into a new urban area.
Designed by Schneider & Schneider, the project includes a variety of apartments as well as a commercial space on the ground floor. The buildings will meet Minergie-ECO standards, with photovoltaic installations and a district heating connection for increased energy efficiency. Scheduled for completion in 2028, the apartments will be delivered alongside landscaped outdoor spaces.
