Mixed Traffic Results for VINCI Autoroutes and Airports in August 2026
VINCI Autoroutes reported a decline in traffic for August 2026, with a 5.6% overall drop compared to 2025. Light vehicles saw a significant decrease of 6.2%, attributed to a challenging calendar effect and rising fuel prices. Conversely, heavy vehicle traffic increased by 2.4%, benefiting from an additional working day compared to 2025.
At VINCI Airports, total passenger traffic slightly decreased by 0.8% year-on-year. Some airports like those in Portugal, Serbia, Hungary, and Mexico experienced growth, while others, notably in the USA and Japan, faced declines due to geopolitical issues. Commercial movements at these airports fell by 1.3% overall, reflecting varied regional performances.
