Mintos Introduces Commission-Free Stock Investing from €1

Mintos, a European investment platform, has launched commission-free stock investing. This new offering allows investors to access over 4,000 US, European, and global stocks from just €1. This makes Mintos unique in Europe, offering retail investors the ability to hold a diverse portfolio within a single account.

The trend of retail participation in stock markets is on the rise across Europe. According to ESMA, approximately 35 million people in the EU traded shares between 2022 and 2025. In 2025 alone, Germany saw 14.1 million individuals holding shares or equity funds, and Spain's households held 16.7% of shares in local companies, according to BME.

Mintos eliminates the usual order fees or custody charges typically associated with stock investing. Investors can begin with just €1 through fractional shares. CEO Martins Sulte emphasizes that this initiative removes barriers for new investors and offers a comprehensive platform for diversified portfolio management.
