Minority Shareholders Reject DKSH's Takeover Offer in Malaysia
In an Extraordinary General Meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, the minority shareholders of DKSH Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad rejected a takeover bid by DKSH Holding Ltd. The bid, initiated in December 2025, aimed to acquire the remaining 25.7% of shares held by minority stakeholders, enhancing DKSH's ownership from 74.3% to 100%.
DKSH's offer was set at RM 6.15 per ordinary share, representing a 16.7% premium compared to the last trading day before the offer was made. Despite the Non-Interested Directors' recommendation to accept, the minority shareholders decided against it. DKSH respects the decision and will explore future strategies while maintaining its operations and commitment in Malaysia.
