Midea Showcases Sustainable HVAC Innovations at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026, Midea demonstrated its commitment to eco-friendly solutions with its latest green HVAC and energy management technologies. Central to their showcase was the R290 technology, known for its ultra-low global warming potential and higher energy efficiency. As a leader in this field for 16 years, Midea has sold over 10 million R290 air conditioners globally, significantly reducing CO2 emissions.
Highlighted products included the H-Pack, an indoor heat pump, and PortaSplit, designed for easy installation and low noise. VitaBreeze, another key innovation, won the IFA 2026 Technology Innovation Award for its intelligent airflow management and energy-saving features.
Midea also introduced Raynor Pro, effective in extreme Nordic climates, and MHELIOS, an all-encompassing home energy management solution designed to optimize energy use and costs. These innovations position Midea as a leader in balancing environmental responsibility with everyday comfort.
