Michael Höllerer to Succeed Johann Strobl as CEO of Raiffeisen Bank International

Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) has announced the appointment of Michael Höllerer as the new CEO, effective 1 July 2026. Höllerer will succeed Johann Strobl, who will not seek an extension of his mandate beyond February 2027. The decision aims to ensure a smooth transition in leadership.

Höllerer currently leads Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien and has held various significant roles within the RBI Group, including CEO of Raiffeisen Capital Management and a member of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank Polska. His experience spans over two decades in the banking sector, underscoring his suitability for the role.

Höllerer will step down from his supervisory board position at RBI in April 2026. His appointment awaits regulatory approval from the supervisory authorities.
