AKWEL: 2026 Half-Year Results
AKWEL reported a net profit of €10.5 million for the first half of 2026. The automotive supplier saw its revenue decline by 18.7%, settling at €415 million. This decrease is attributed to the discontinuation of certain products and to canceled or postponed customer projects, in an uncertain global market environment.
Despite these challenges, AKWEL maintained a current operating margin of 4.3%, thanks to efficiency gains. Operating profit fell by 40.6% to €15.9 million. Adjusted net cash stood at €123.7 million, compared to €133 million at the end of the previous year.
Meanwhile, the group anticipates a decrease in annual revenue of between 12% and 15%, while remaining vigilant in the face of market uncertainties.
