Metallic Minerals Revamps Exploration at Keno Silver Project

Metallic Minerals Corp has presented its plans for the Keno Silver project in Yukon, Canada. The project, in one of the world's richest silver districts, neighbors Hecla Mining Company’s operations, boosting its potential. The company outlined strategic resource expansions fueled by recent market highs in gold and silver prices.

The Keno project, situated on 171 square kilometers of land, continues its exploratory drilling, having completed over 19,701 meters across 168 holes. It hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 18.2 million ounces of silver equivalent. Metallic has unveiled plans for a 2026 exploration program focusing on resource expansion and new high-priority drill targets.

Innovations like AI workflows are employed to refine drilling priorities. With promising initial results, the project aims to redefine further resource estimates and evaluate production feasibility, supported by current silver prices.
