Medartis Sees Increased US Growth with TOUCH® Prosthesis Adoption
Medartis Holding AG has reported accelerated growth in its US market due to the swift adoption of Keri Medical’s TOUCH® prosthesis, as disclosed in its recent announcement. Since the mid-year results, the number of procedures utilizing TOUCH in treating thumb base osteoarthritis has surpassed expectations, totaling over 2,000 by October 2026. As a result, the company anticipates concluding the year with approximately 3,000 procedures in the US.
Medartis projects that continued demand could enable it to exceed its sales growth guidance of 17% to 19% (constant exchange rates). This growth is expected to push the core EBITDA margin to the upper end of their predicted "high-teens range". CEO Matthias Schupp noted the strong clinical track record of TOUCH and effective collaboration with US surgeons as factors driving this momentum.
The company intends to release its complete 2026 results on March 2, 2027, and will engage with investors at upcoming conferences in London, Zurich, and Davos to discuss its outlook.
