Maurel & Prom performance in the first half of 2025
Maurel & Prom recorded production of 37,637 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in the first half of 2025, a 6% increase compared to the second half of 2024. This increase is mainly due to increased production in Venezuela and Tanzania. However, production in Gabon decreased slightly.
Consolidated revenue reached $289 million, although the average selling price fell to $70.9 per barrel, a decrease of 8%. Service and trading activities contributed $9 million and $52 million to revenue, respectively.
Furthermore, Maurel & Prom plans to complete its acquisition of a 61% stake in the Sinu-9 gas permit in Colombia by September 2025. Despite the 8% drop in oil prices, the company expects to increase production at Sinu-9 by October.
