Franco-Belgian Malts' 2025-2026 Annual Results: A Resilient Balance Sheet
Malteries Franco-Belges (MFB) has released its results for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, marked by a challenging market environment. Revenue reached €116.8 million, down 11.9% compared to the previous year. This decrease resulted from lower sales volumes and a decline in barley prices.
The operating result shows a decrease of €3.2 million, impacted by a decline in gross margin. However, net cash increased significantly to €104.4 million, supported by the optimization of working capital requirements.
In response to competitive pressure, MFB is continuing its investments, particularly at its Prouvy and Pithiviers sites. Despite a complex economic climate, MFB anticipates new opportunities, focusing on industrial competitiveness and innovation.
