Mako Mining Expands Gold Mineralization at Las Conchitas

Mako Mining Corp. has announced promising drilling results from its Las Conchitas site, near the San Albino mine in Nicaragua. The recent exploration, part of an extensive drilling campaign, aims to extend high-grade gold mineralization beyond current pit limits. Drilling has uncovered significant intercepts, such as 26.98 g/t gold over 6.8 meters true width, expanding the mineralized area to over 450 meters.

The drilling primarily targeted the southwest extension near the Limon-Mango-Bayacun pit. The results demonstrate strong gold grades and structural continuity. Moreover, mineralization remains open along strike and at depth, suggesting potential for further exploration and expansion. CEO Akiba Leisman emphasized the significance of these findings for the San Albino project, highlighting the potential for pit expansion.

As Mako Mining continues its development plan, this progress may lead to extended mine life and increased resource definition within a fully permitted area.
