Louis Hachette Group Sells Prisma Media's Luxury Division to Vivendi

Louis Hachette Group has finalized the sale of Prisma Media's luxury division to Vivendi. The transaction includes Harper’s Bazaar France and stakes in MilK and Côté Maison/Côté Régie. This strategic decision aligns with Louis Hachette’s effort to sharpen its focus on Prisma Media's core areas amid a swiftly changing business environment.

Coinciding with the sale, Vivendi acquired a 13.58% stake in Prisma Group, Prisma Media's parent company, following a capital increase. Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman of Prisma Media, emphasized that the divestment allows the company to concentrate on its historical strengths in diverse content areas while enhancing its focus on video and AI formats. The stake acquisition could enhance collaboration between Louis Hachette and Vivendi.
