Louis Hachette Group's Share Buyback Program 2024-2026
Louis Hachette Group has outlined its new share buyback program for 2024-2026, approved at the General Meeting on December 9, 2024. The program, contingent upon the company's shares trading on Euronext Growth (Paris) since December 16, 2024, aims to repurchase up to 10% of share capital, equating to approximately 99.2 million shares.
The buyback serves various purposes, from capital reduction through share cancellations to employee compensation via free shares. It also provides for liquidity maintenance agreements and potential external growth transactions. The maximum unit purchase price is set at 2.80€, calculated as 200% of the market price at trading initiation.
The program's budget is capped at 277.76 million euros, with provisions for adjustments following share capital alterations. It is slated to run for 18 months, ending June 9, 2026.
