LION Smart Secures Three Projects Expanding BESS Capacity in Germany
LION E-Mobility AG's subsidiary, LION Smart Production GmbH, announced the acquisition of three new battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Germany, each at 10 MWh, totaling 30 MWh. This development reflects ongoing growth in their BESS sector. These projects will be connected to the grid by Q1 2027, showcasing varied applications such as photovoltaic system integrations and standalone storage solutions.
LION Smart continues to integrate tailored storage solutions, meeting diverse customer needs across consultation, design, engineering, and maintenance. Interest is rising among power producers and utility companies. The firm introduces "BESS as a Service," removing the need for operators to invest, while assuming technical risk and providing additional revenue avenues.
