Linde Reports Growth in Q2 2026 Results

In its second-quarter 2026 financial report, Linde plc announced a 9% increase in sales, achieving $9.3 billion compared to the previous year. Operating profit reached $2.6 billion, with an improved adjusted operating profit of $2.7 billion, reflecting a 7% growth. The company reported a 27.5% operating profit margin and a 29.5% adjusted margin. Productive cost management and increased sales contributed to these results.

Earnings per share (EPS) saw an 11% rise to $4.15, with adjusted EPS up to $4.50. Linde's operating cash flow increased by 3% year-on-year, amounting to $2.3 billion. The company’s third-quarter forecast anticipates a 6% to 8% rise in adjusted EPS, consistent with ongoing expansion strategies.

Significant growth was noted across regions, with sales in the Asia Pacific rising by 13% and in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by 7%. Linde’s backlog projects hit $11 billion, fueled by strong demand in electronics and other sectors.
