Lee Kum Kee Collaborates with UNESCO on Global Flavour Archive Initiative

Lee Kum Kee Sauce has partnered with UNESCO to launch the "Forever Flavors Project". This initiative, revealed in Beijing, aims to gather and preserve global culinary memories. The project encourages public participation through social media, calling for worldwide submissions of food-related stories, thereby creating an archive of flavour memories.

The collaboration focuses on cultural heritage protection and fostering cross-cultural dialogue. The project's launch was marked by a ceremony attended by industry figures and cultural representatives. Selected stories will be showcased on both UNESCO and Lee Kum Kee platforms, highlighting flavours as emotional and identity anchors.

Daniel Shih from Lee Kum Kee emphasized the historical importance of their sauces, while Professor Shahbaz Khan of UNESCO underscored food's role in cultural identity and development. The initiative reflects a commitment to safeguarding culinary heritage and promoting cultural understanding across borders.
