The Blockchain Group Increases Its Bitcoin Assets
The Blockchain Group confirms the acquisition of 29 additional bitcoins for approximately €2.8 million. This transaction brings the total held by the company to 1,933 BTC, representing a value of approximately €174.8 million. This acquisition is part of the group's Bitcoin Treasury Company strategy, which consists of accumulating bitcoins to increase the profitability of diluted capital holdings. The group reports a BTC return of 1,368.3% since January, with a gain of 547.3 BTC.
The acquisition was made possible through a capital increase of approximately €3 million and carried out at an average price of €4.056 per share. TOBAM was the lead investor in this transaction. This initiative reflects The Blockchain Group's commitment to further developing its activities in decentralized technologies.
