LDC Reports 10.3% Revenue Growth in Q1 2026-2027
LDC reported a revenue of €1,856.4 million in Q1 2026-2027, marking a 10.3% increase compared to Q1 2025-2026. Organic growth stood at 6.0%, driven by international sales, a favorable product mix, and contributions from the Pierre Martinet Group. Overall volume increased by 12.8%, 4.4% on a like-for-like basis.
The Upstream division saw a 2.5% sales increase, reaching €161.1 million, buoyed by egg activities and stable breeding operations. The Poultry sector achieved a revenue of €1,041.6 million, with a 3.8% rise despite a 2.0% drop in volume due to last year's avian flu impact.
Internationally, revenue soared by 20.1%, driven by volume increases and successful operations in Poland and Hungary. A fire in Hungary had minimal impact on overall business. Meanwhile, the Convenience Food division saw a 31.2% rise, primarily due to integrating Pierre Martinet.
