LDC Secures CMA Approval for Green Label Acquisition

LDC has announced the approval from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) for acquiring a majority stake in Green Label Holdings Ltd. This decision, originally disclosed on December 1, 2025, marks a significant step in LDC's expansion strategy in the UK. Green Label, known for its Gressingham brand, is a prominent producer and supplier of duck and other poultry products.

Green Label employs approximately seven hundred personnel and operates extensive farms in East Anglia, covering over 250,000 m2. This acquisition aligns with LDC's strategy to strengthen its UK presence alongside its Welsh subsidiary and European imports. Starting May 2026, Green Label’s financial outcomes will be included in LDC Group’s accounts.
