Launch of the 2nd Edition of Forum Invest in Senegal 2025
On May 28, 2025, Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko launched the second edition of the Forum Invest in Senegal (FII Sénégal 2025). Scheduled for October 7-8, 2025, at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center in Diamniadio, this event aligns with Senegal Vision 2050.
The forum aims to transform Senegal’s economy, moving away from debt-driven models to focus on local resource transformation, private sector growth, and equitable territorial development. Key strategies include developing Senegal as an industrial platform, enhancing the private sector, and creating a tech and financial hub in Dakar.
Over 3,000 economic figures are expected, underscoring Senegal's political stability, dynamic youth, and an anticipated growth rate of 8.8% for 2025. This event positions Senegal as a competitive and sustainable investment destination.
