The Ellinikon Urban Regeneration Project Advances Rapidly in Athens

The Ellinikon, touted as Europe's largest urban regeneration project, is making significant strides. Managed by LAMDA Development, it features over 40 active construction sites employing approximately 3,000 workers and 18 contractors. Notable milestones include a partnership with ION Group to establish a Global R&D and Innovation Campus. This development will cater to roughly 2,000 professionals across 44 countries, marking The Ellinikon as a significant European hub for AI and digitalization.

In addition, The University of Nicosia has announced plans for its first Greek campus within The Ellinikon, covering 75,000 sqm. The residential development continues with the Riviera Tower and new offerings such as Skyline Havens.

The project also focuses on retail, with the Riviera Galleria and The Ellinikon Mall taking shape. Lastly, the Sports Park and an ecological lake are underway, enhancing the area's recreational and environmental landscapes.
