Frédéric Chevalier Joins Lagardère Travel Retail as CEO

Effective July 1, 2025, Frédéric Chevalier will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Lagardère Travel Retail, working alongside current Chairman & CEO, Dag Rasmussen. His appointment follows a recommendation by Arnaud Lagardère. Chevalier, who joined the company in 2006 and has been Deputy CEO since 2024, will oversee worldwide operations, with all Executive Committee members reporting directly to him.

Arnaud Lagardère praised Chevalier’s contributions, highlighting his involvement in the company’s transformation and long-term strategy. Dag Rasmussen expressed enthusiasm for Chevalier's appointment, emphasizing his leadership and knowledge as crucial for the company's next growth phase. Chevalier aims to drive excellence and adapt to change while creating value for partners and enhancing the travel experience.

The company has seen significant achievements, nearly tripling its revenue over the past decade, with a notable 16% growth in 2024. Recent strategic expansions include contracts in major European cities and a joint venture at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
