NAGRAVISION Enhances Formula 1 Content Security in Croatia and Slovenia

NAGRAVISION, a company within the Kudelski Group, has extended its reach in the Adriatic region by securing the broadcast of Formula 1 content for RTL Croatia and PRO PLUS Slovenia. The deployment of NAGRA® Venturi aims to tackle the growing issue of live sports piracy, exacerbated by AI advancements. This involves real-time monitoring combined with network-level watermarking to ensure content protection while maintaining an optimal viewing experience.

The implementation, completed in a month, enables broadcasters to effectively monitor and address unauthorized content redistribution. The project was a collaborative effort with ATEME, ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations. For RTL Croatia and PRO PLUS Slovenia, the focus remains on maintaining security and visibility over valuable sports content.

Beyond improving security, NAGRA Venturi offers insights into piracy activities, helping prioritize actions through its NEXUS center. This strategy aims to safeguard investments in premium sports rights, making it a crucial operation for broadcasters in today’s digital landscape.
