Kontron Secures Major Contract with SNCF in France

Vienna, July 15, 2025 – Kontron AG, a prominent global IoT technology company, has announced a significant contract with SNCF France worth several million euros. This agreement, a continuation of Kontron's long-term collaboration with SNCF, highlights their expertise in developing mission-critical communication systems. It also strengthens their position during the technology transition from GSM-R to Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS).

Kontron is instrumental in defining future communication standards, ensuring smooth migration from GSM-R to FRMCS. The contract guarantees the evolution of mobile communication systems, supported by a comprehensive core network and Kontron's AI-powered knowledge base.
