Komax Group Reports Resilient Financial Performance in H1 2026

In the first half of 2026, Komax Group achieved a 12.2% increase in order intake to CHF 311.4 million. This growth stems from a robust presence in the industrial and infrastructure sectors in North America, buoyed by the expansion of data centers. However, revenues saw a 2.8% decrease, impacted by negative currency effects, despite an organic growth of 1.6%.

Komax's strategic focus on reducing automotive dependence showed results as this sector's revenue contribution fell to 57%. The decline in net revenues was offset by a significant order backlog, which rose to CHF 183.1 million. Moreover, a lower cost base contributed to an adjusted EBIT of CHF 16.5 million, despite CHF –14.9 million in one-time structural adjustments.

Looking forward, Komax anticipates revenue between CHF 580 million and CHF 600 million for 2026, focusing on further growth in the industrial and infrastructure markets through its "Uplift" program and innovations such as wire2GO in the US market.
