Euronaval 2026: KNDS and SeaOwl unveil an innovative surface drone
At the Euronaval 2026 trade show, KNDS and SeaOwl announced their collaboration to develop an innovative unmanned surface vehicle (USV). This strategic agreement leverages KNDS's expertise in precision munitions and SeaOwl's expertise in maritime robotics. The drone is designed for offensive and defensive missions, equipped with a next-generation remotely operated naval munition.
The drone, which reaches speeds of 35 knots, is optimized for modern maritime theaters. Its range can reach 200 km, while ensuring maximum stealth. The cybersecurity-enabled structure ensures constant human control, with the operator making the final decision regarding engagement.
This project strengthens the offerings of both companies. KNDS continues to innovate in maritime defense, while SeaOwl integrates proven ballistic capabilities, thus addressing the current challenges of naval forces.
