KION Group Achieves Strong Order Intake Despite Revenue Dip in 2025
KION Group AG reported a solid financial performance in 2025, highlighted by a significant increase in order intake, which rose to €11.705 billion from €10.321 billion in 2024. However, overall revenue slightly decreased to €11.297 billion compared to the previous year's €11.503 billion. Adjusted EBIT declined to €788.6 million with a reduced margin of 7.0 percent.
Despite these declines, the company reported strong free cash flow of €709.5 million and completed an efficiency program, achieving cost savings and solidifying future investments. The Supply Chain Solutions segment, renamed "Intelligent Automation Solutions" for 2026, saw a 39.5 percent increase in order intake, primarily driven by the e-commerce sector.
Looking ahead, KION expects moderate revenue growth and a significant improvement in adjusted EBIT for 2026, supported by their "Playing to Win" strategy. Free cash flow is forecasted to be lower due to planned acquisition-related expenditures.
